I’m Cliff Barnett, Jr., founder of Temple Builders Fitness Ministry, LLC. I created Temple Builders to help individuals, churches, and communities grow stronger—physically and spiritually. My mission is to honor Christ through a lifelong commitment to health and wellness, and I believe our bodies are temples meant to be cared for with purpose.

I’m a minister, certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, and nutrition coach. I hold degrees in Exercise Sport Science, Sport Management, and Biblical and Theological Studies.

Through this ministry, I’m committed to helping others transform their lives by aligning faith, fitness, and nutrition—because taking care of your body is one way we worship with our whole lives.

Do I need to already be in shape to join?

Not at all! Our programs are designed for all fitness levels. Whether you’re just starting or looking to take things further, workouts are tailored to your needs.

What makes Temple Builders different from other fitness programs?

We combine fitness, nutrition, and accountability with biblical principles. It’s not just about looking good—it’s about building a healthy lifestyle that honors your body as the temple of God.

What if I’m not a devoted Christian but I believe in God—will I feel out of place at Temple Builders?

Not at all. Temple Builders is built on Christian values, but our heart is to help ALL people take care of their health—body, mind, and spirit. You don’t need to be a Bible scholar or a church member to join us. As long as you’re open to encouragement, community, and a positive, faith-filled environment that will encourage and pray for you, you’ll feel right at home. Our goal is to meet you where you are and support your health journey without pressure or judgment.

Do I have to follow a strict diet?

No strict diets here. We focus on balanced and sustainable nutrition that fuels your body without being restrictive or overwhelming.

Is Temple Builders only for churches?

No. While we partner with churches, individuals and families can join too. The goal is to build a healthier community, inside and outside the church.
